Our story - 24+ years of keeping Fullerton moving and building dreams.

One shop. Two passions. A whole lot of horsepower.

From a corner of the shop to a complete operation.

It started with Minor Auto Care.

More than 24 years ago, Eric Minor opened a small repair shop in Fullerton with one simple idea: treat every car — and every customer — like they matter. No upsells. No surprises. Just honest work at a fair price.

Word got around. The shop got busier. And somewhere along the way, customers started asking about more than just oil changes.

“Can you fix the rust on my ’67 Mustang?” “I’ve got a hot rod project sitting in my garage. Could you finish it?” “I want something nobody else has. Can you build it?”

The answer was always yes — and slowly, MAC Speed & Custom was born. What began as a side passion grew into a full custom and restoration division, sharing the same shop floor, the same crew, and the same standards as the daily service business.

Today, we’re proud to be a complete shop. The kind of place where you can drop off your daily driver for a tune-up and pick up a one-of-a-kind build the same week. Where the same hands that align your Tesla can fabricate a custom frame from scratch. Where every car — six-figure restoration or first-car commuter — gets treated like it matters. Because it does.

What we stand for.

We’ve been at this long enough to know what makes a shop worth coming back to. It’s not the lift, the tools, or the certifications on the wall — it’s the people, the standards, and the community around it.
