Service Details

You don’t think about brakes and suspension — until something feels off. A soft pedal. A pull to the right. A clunk over a bump that wasn’t there last week.

Those signals matter. Brakes and suspension are the two systems that decide whether your car responds the way it should — when you need to stop, when you need to corner, when you need to avoid something fast.

At MAC, we treat brake and suspension work as safety work first. We use premium parts, not the cheapest box on the shelf. We replace components in matched sets where it matters. And we road-test every job before handing the keys back, because a brake job that looks right in the bay needs to feel right at 60mph.

We work on everything from daily commuters to performance builds. Same shop, same standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do brake pads last?
Anywhere from 25,000 to 70,000 miles depending on your driving, your vehicle, and the pad material. Heavy stop-and-go traffic wears them faster. We’ll measure thickness on every visit and let you know where you are.
Not always. If your rotors are still within thickness spec and not warped or grooved, they can be resurfaced or left alone. We’ll measure and tell you straight — no upselling rotors that don’t need replacing.
Usually warped rotors, sometimes a tire balance issue, occasionally suspension. We can pinpoint it in the inspection. The good news: it’s almost always fixable.
Absolutely. Brake and suspension work on hot rods, restorations, and performance builds is a big part of what we do — including upgrades to bigger calipers, performance pads, and modern suspension geometry.
